“I started liking The 1975 in 2014. I would go on these dodgy websites to see live streams and crap like that and I spent over $95 on their first vinyl because it was sent from England to here. Back then I would walk around with a guitar pick with the box on it. Everyone was like ‘what is that?’ they thought I was a part of a cult or something hah but I was just a little girl who loved Matty Healy. And here I am.”
How many times have you seen them?
“None! This is my first time. The last few times that they were here I had a wedding the first time, the second one I had a midterm and I couldn’t make it. The guy I’m here with this is his 5th or 6th time coming. So he’s like ‘I’m going to record. I want you to focus and take it in.’ So yeah, it’s my first time!”
