We’re here in Columbus at An Evening With Twenty One Pilots. You are what number in line?
Supermario: “Number one. I got here quite early, about 6 AM I would say. We’ve just been hanging out, talking to friends, making it happen.”
How long have you been a fan of Twenty One Pilots?
Supermario: “2013”
Do you remember how you found them or the first song you heard? How did you get into them, tell us that story…
Supermario: “I do. ‘Car Radio’. The first time I heard it on Pandora on shuffle, I heard this white guy rapping. I really loved it. I kept listening, and it stuck with me. And ever since then, I’ve never turned back…”
So obviously with Twenty One Pilots, there’s a whole world that goes along with it, their lyrics are so emotional and moving,.. do you have a certain lyric or a certain song that really means a lot to you or maybe brings up a memory for you?
Supermario: “Definitely. That’s the thing about 21 Pilots. I grew up with them, and I’ve gone through many life experiences with them. So there are different portions of different songs that I attribute to a certain memory in my life. One of them being, I love the way he goes, “entertain my faith”. I love that. The consideration of, like please consider this plea of continuing to grow. So I think that’s really cool.”
